Associate Attorney

Premlata Sanchez is a civil litigation attorney with more than 15 years of experience representing clients in a broad range of matters. Her practice includes creditors’ rights, mortgage foreclosure, and real estate litigation, with significant experience representing financial institutions, mortgage servicers, and institutional clients. Premlata has courtroom and litigation experience, including motion practice, discovery, depositions, mediations, settlement negotiations, and overall case management. She has managed substantial litigation caseloads and regularly develops strategies for resolving complex legal and factual issues efficiently and effectively.

Her experience also includes first-party property insurance litigation, consumer finance and mortgage servicing matters, federal regulatory issues, and complex litigation and electronic discovery. She has worked on international investigations and litigation involving the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), including matters involving companies conducting business in foreign jurisdictions. In that work, Premlata utilized her foreign-language skills to analyze Spanish-, Portuguese, and Italian evidence in connection with complex litigation and regulatory matters.

This diverse background provides Premlata with a practical and comprehensive approach to litigation, from initial case evaluation through resolution.

Premlata is admitted to practice in Florida and the District of Columbia, as well as before the United States District Courts for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida. She is fluent in Spanish, has advanced proficiency in Portuguese, and has working knowledge of Italian.
