Biography

Damon M. Ellis is a Partner in the Tampa office. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in 1993 from the University of California, Irvine and his Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1996. He is admitted to practice in Florida and has practiced in Creditors’ Rights field throughout Florida since 1997. Damon is a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the Foreclosure and Debtor/Creditor Rights Subcommittee of the Real Property Finance & Lending Committee of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar and the Legislation and Government Regulation of Lending Subcommittee of the Real Property Finance & Lending Committee of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar. Damon is also a co-author of The Florida Bar’s “Mortgage Foreclosure and Alternatives”, 8th Edition 2014 and was also a contributing author to the 7th Edition 2012 and 6th Edition 2010.
