Privacy Policy

Updated and Effective December 14, 2016

Brock & Scott, PLLC (referred to as "Brock & Scott," "we," "us," or "our" herein) respects your privacy. Our privacy policy covers the treatment of personally identifiable information that we collect when you are on our site and when you use our services.

This policy also applies to Brock & Scott's treatment of any personally identifiable information that our business partners share with us. This policy, however, does not apply to the practices of companies that we do not own or control, or to people that we do not employ or manage. We would hope that they would choose to respect your privacy, but that is beyond our control.

Information Collection and Use

The firm does not collect personally identifiable information when a consumer visits or uses our web pages. Consumers do have an option to contact our Consumer Contact Center through an email form and may provide PII in the open text portion. The information is not collected or stored in any other manner than an email.

Types of information a consumer may provide, but not limited to include:

  • Name
  • Account Number
  • Phone Number
  • Postal or Email Address
  • IP Address

We may capture information from a consumer's browser including IP address, cookie information and the page requested.

We may use this information for two general purposes: to customize the content seen, or to fulfill requests for certain services and information.

Because the firm does not log or retain PII, which is not freely given by a consumer, our website does not respond to Do Not Track signals from browsers.

To the extent the firm receives, maintains, or processes an individual's protected health information, the firm may disclose that information as authorized by and in accordance with applicable federal and/or state law.

INFORMATION PROTECTION

To protect consumer's PII from unauthorized access and use, the firm uses security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings.

Cookies

We may set and access cookies on the computer of a user. Cookies we use do not contain or capture unencrypted PII. We use the information for security purposes, to facilitate navigation, and to display information more effectively.

You can refuse to accept these cookies and most devices and browsers offer their own privacy settings for cookies. However, if you do not accept these cookies, you may experience some inconvenience in your use of the site.

Marketing

The firm does not market to consumers and will not use information collected for such purposes nor will we sell information collected to any company or individual.

Third Parties may not collect PII through the firm's website.

Use By Minors

Changes to Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is subject to change. Please review it periodically. If the firm makes changes to the Privacy Policy, we will revise the "Last Updated" date on the Privacy webpage. Any changes to this policy will become effective when the firm posts the revised notice on the site. A consumer's use of the site following any changes mean that they accept the revised notice.
