Biography
Weldianne is an Attorney in our Real Estate Default Division. Prior to joining Brock & Scott, PLLC scales was the Director of the Civil Division for a Pittsburgh law firm where she represented clients with civil, real estate, estate, criminal defense, family, and immigration matters. She also has extensive experience in the areas of oil and gas and real estate.
Weldianne is a Member of Council, which she also currently serves as the Vice President. She is the first African American woman elected as a council member for the borough. She is the founder and chairperson of the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee, and currently serves as the chairperson for the Police Committee.
In 2022 Weldianne received the Pittsburgh Courier Fab40 award and received the Rising Stars designation for 2023. She was selected for this honor after undergoing an evaluation of many different factors including peer recognition and professional achievement.
Weldianne graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, where she received the Honorable Denise Langford Morris Scholarship and the CALI Award for Excellence Achievement in the clinical study of Mortgage Foreclosure Defense. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Finance.
She became a licensed attorney in 2016. She is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States District Court of Western Pennsylvania, and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
