Reinstatement quote

A "Reinstatement quote" gives the total past due amount owed, which may include accrued interest, past due monthly payments, any fees and costs associated with collecting the debt to your lender plus foreclosure attorney fees/costs. Most Lenders will provide an amount and a date in which the amount is good though. Typically this is 30 days from the date requested. Once a reinstatement quote expires a new quote must be requested from the lender and processed.

If you are able to pay the reinstatement by the specified date the foreclosure proceeding will be canceled and a letter of dismissal sent to the Clerk of Court.


Payoff quote

A "Payoff quote" gives the entire amount owed to your lender for the loan plus foreclosure attorney fees/costs. Most Lenders will provide an amount and a date in which the amount is good though. Typically this is 30 days from the date requested. Once the payoff quote expires a new quote must be requested from the lender and processed.

If you are able to pay the total due by the specified date the foreclosure proceeding will be canceled and a letter of dismissal sent to the Clerk of Court.
