THOMAS E. BROCK is a Founding Partner of Brock & Scott, PLLC and has practiced Real Estate and Corporate Law in Winston-Salem since 1996. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1987 and his Juris Doctor degree from Wake Forest University School of Law in 1996.

GREGORY A. SCOTT is a Founding Partner of Brock & Scott, PLLC and practiced in the area of Civil Litigation before becoming a founding member of the law firm in Winston-Salem. He received his undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University in 1992 and his Juris Doctor degree from Wake Forest University School of Law in 1996.

JAMES P. BONNER is a Senior Partner of Brock & Scott, PLLC. His primary responsibility is directing the Foreclosure Division of the Firm. He received his undergraduate degree from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1983 and his Juris Doctor degree from Campbell University School of Law in 1988. He is a licensed member of the NC State Bar. He is a member of national and state MBA, Legal League 100, Giants of Default Law, The AFFN, REOMAC, Default Attorney Group (DAG) and the North Carolina and New Hanover County Bar Associations. He is also admitted to all Federal Districts within North Carolina.

BRIAN L. CAMPBELL is a Partner and the Managing Attorney of the Foreclosure Division. He is also responsible for the South Carolina and Georgia operations. He was admitted to the North Carolina Bar in 2001 and practices in the area of Foreclosure and Real Estate. He was admitted into the South Carolina Bar in 2005 and Georgia in 2010. WENDY J. WASSERMAN is a Partner and the Managing Attorney of the Bankruptcy Division of the Florida office. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance summa cum laude from Pennsylvania State University and her Juris Doctor degree from Vanderbilt University School of Law where she was Senior Managing Editor of the Vanderbilt Law Review. MARK A. PEARSON is a Partner and the Managing Attorney for the REO Division. He was admitted to the New Jersey and Pennsylvania Bar in 1996, the South Carolina Bar in 1999 and North Carolina Bar in 2003. Mark received his undergraduate degree from the College of Charleston and his Juris Doctor degree in 1995 from Widener School of Law, Harrisburg, PA.

CLAYTON GLADD is Managing Attorney of the Collections Division. Clayton is a 2002 graduate of Campbell University, with a BA in History magna cum laude. He received his Juris Doctor in 2007 from the University of Baltimore School of Law. Clayton is a licensed member of the North Carolina State Bar, the Forsyth County Bar and the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys.

CURTIS J. HERBERT is the Managing Attorney of the Litigation Division. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1981. He received his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Florida and his Juris Doctor from University of Miami. His areas of practice include Real Estate Law, Construction Litigation and Arbitration, Commercial Litigation, and General Civil Litigation. SANDRA A. LITTLE is the Managing Attorney of the Uncontested Foreclosure Division. She was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1992. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Furman University and her Juris Doctor from the Cumberland School of Law. JESSICA FAGEN is the Managing Attorney in the Sales and Evictions Division. She was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2008 and the Georgia Bar in 2010. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Simpson College and her Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law, where she received her Certification in Sports Law. Jessica is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court Northern District of Florida since 2009. Her areas of practice include Residential and Commercial Real Estate, Foreclosure and Landlord/Tenant Evictions, HOA and Condominium Law, Residential Real Estate and Small Business Loan Closings, as well as General Civil Litigation.

KATHY ACHILLE is an Associate Attorney of the Litigation Group. She is a former prosecutor and has also practiced in the area of criminal defense. Her entire legal career is based in litigation. She practiced in the area of foreclosure litigation before joining Brock & Scott. She received her undergraduate degree from the university of Florida in 1995 and her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida in 1998.

WENDY BREWSTER MAROUN is an Associate Attorney in the Foreclosure Division. She is a graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles School of Law. She also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Economy of Industrial Societies from the University of California at Berkeley. Ms. Maroun began her legal career as a criminal prosecutor at the Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s Office. Since leaving criminal law, Ms. Maroun has practiced extensively in the area of civil litigation. She has well over fifty jury and bench trials to her credit as lead counsel. For several years, Ms. Maroun served as in-house counsel for a major corporation. She now practices exclusively in the area of real estate litigation for financial institutions. Member Florida Bar since 1997. Gwen S. Cherry Black women Lawyer’s Association. Ms. Maroun has an active life with two sons and enjoys golf and tennis in her spare time.

SHAIB Y. RIOS is an Associate Attorney in the Florida office. Shaib received her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law Center, where she graduated with pro bono honors. She was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2006 and thereafter served as a judicial law clerk for the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit in West Palm Beach, Florida. Prior to joining the firm, Shaib worked as a commercial litigator and appellate attorney. Shaib practices in the areas of real estate litigation and serves as appellate counsel.

HEIDI S. MOHAMMED is an Associate Attorney in the Foreclosure Division. She was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2008. She received her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Microbiology and Bachelor’s of Arts in Criminology and Sociology from the University of Manitoba and her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University. Her areas of practice include Real Estate, Personal Injury, and Foreclosure Litigation. She is also admitted to the United States District Court of the Southern District of Florida.

JEREMY APISDORF is an Associate Attorney in the Foreclosure Division. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2003. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Political Science from the University of Miami and his Juris Doctorate degree from Nova Southeastern University. He is also admitted to practice in the United States Federal Court for the Southern District of Florida. His areas of practice include Criminal Litigation, Real Estate Law, Foreclosure Litigation, Insurance Defense Law, Commercial Litigation, and General Civil Litigation.

KELLEY CRAMER is the Managing Attorney of the Jacksonville office. Kelley received her BA from Stetson University and her JD degree from Stetson University College of Law. Admitted to the Florida Bar in 2002 and to the Florida Middle District and Northern District Courts in 2011, Kelley spent seven years as a state government attorney practicing various areas of administrative law before practicing in the area of foreclosure and creditor’s rights. Kelley is not the only attorney in her family; she and her father both took the Florida Bar and were sworn in as lawyers together in 2002, and as a Stetson alumni, she had the honor of presenting a JD to her younger sister in 2010.

JERRY LEE HANBERY is the Managing Attorney of the Orlando office. He received his undergraduate degrees and Juris Doctorate from University of Florida, an M.A. in Ethics from Yale University, and his MBA from University of Connecticut. He is a licensed member of the Florida State Bar and is admitted to the Middle District of Florida. He was Editor in Chief of the Florida Journal of International Law and a Member of Florida Blue Key. He is a Certified Supreme Court Circuit Civil Mediator, a member of the Real Estate and Civil Trial sections of the Florida Bar and very active in leadership of the Orange County Bar Association.

BRANDON RAY MCDOWELL is an Associate Litigation Attorney for the Orlando office. He received his Bachelor’s of Arts degree in English/ History, Pre-Law from Averett University in Virginia in 2005. He received his Juris Doctorate Degree from Barry University graduating Cum Laude in 2009. Brandon was admitted to the Florida State Bar in 2009 and the Federal District Court for the Middle District of Florida in 2011. JAMICE PINKNEY is the Managing Attorney of the Tallahassee Office. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with honors from Benedict College in 1991 and a Certificate in Paralegal Studies with honors from Midlands Technical College in 1995. After having worked for several years as a legal secretary and paralegal prior to and during her law school tenure, she obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2004 and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2005. She has served as a Judicial Staff Attorney for the Twelfth Judicial Circuit of Florida, Assistant County Attorney in the Litigation Department of the Pinellas County Attorney’s Office and as counsel representing residential associations and lenders in bankruptcy, collections and foreclosure matters. She has also been admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

SUZANNE BROWN is an Associate Attorney in the Foreclosure Division. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from Capital University in May of 2001. Suzanne received her Juris Doctor from the University Of Akron School Of Law in May of 2005, and was admitted into the NC Bar in March of 2006. Additionally, Suzanne was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2007.

AMY R. ZEKO is an Associate Attorney in the Foreclosure Division. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in English & Economics from Duke University in 1996. In 2001, she received her Juris Doctor from Campbell University, Buies Creek, North Carolina. Amy also received her Masters of Business Administration from the Lundy-Fetterman School of Business in 2001. She was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar in 2001.

ROLAND C. DRAUGHN, III is an Associate Attorney in the Wilmington Office. Roland is a 2003 graduate of UNC—Chapel Hill with a BA in Communication Studies. In 2004, Roland obtained a BS in Criminal Justice from North Carolina Central University before going on to receive his Juris Doctor from NC Central School of Law in 2007. Upon graduation and being admitted to the NC Bar, Roland Began his law career in the District Attorney's Office for North Carolina’s 5th District. Roland worked as a prosecutor in both Pender and New Hanover Counties before leaving the DAA’s office to work with Brock & Scott in June 2009. Roland now works in the firm's Foreclosure and Criminal Divisions.

MATTHEW HERRLE is an Associate Attorney in the Winston-Salem office. Matt also works with Litigation and Collections. He was admitted to the North Carolina Bar in 2006 and practices in the area of Real Estate. Matt received his Juris Doctor from the University of Toledo in 2005 as well as a Masters in Business Administration in 2005. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1982. He is a licensed member of the Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, and Pennsylvania State Bars, and is admitted to practice before a dozen federal courts located throughout those states, including the Courts of Appeals for the 4th, 6th, and Federal Circuits.

MARC S. ASBILL is an Associate Attorney in the Asheville Office. His practice areas include real estate and civil litigation. He was admitted to the North Carolina bar in 2009 after receiving his Juris Doctor from the Charlotte School of Law. His undergraduate work was completed in 2006, obtaining a Bachelors in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

T. MARC SHROPSHIREis an Associate Attorney in the Asheville Office. His areas of practice include real estate and civil litigation. NEAL COLLINS is an Associate Attorney in the Charlotte office. Neal works in bankruptcy, foreclosure and workers’ compensation. SARAH BETH ROSE is an Associate Attorney in the Charlotte office. Sarah practices in the areas of real estate, foreclosure, and collections. He earned his BA from Brigham Young University and his JD form the University of South Carolina School of Law. Jason focused his legal career on real estate, debt collection, mortgage foreclosure and litigation. He has lectured on real estate and foreclosure law topics for various real estate and legal professional groups.

CHAD BURGESS is an Associate Attorney in our Columbia office. He is a member of the Richland County Bar Association and South Carolina Bar. He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina. He earned his BS (2001, cum laude) and JD (2004) from the University of South Carolina. Chad has focused his legal career on creditor’s rights including debt collection and mortgage foreclosure with an emphasis on litigation and contested issues.

SARA OLIVER is an Associate Attorney in the Columbia office and practices in the area of mortgage foreclosure. Sarah earned her B.A. from Clemson University and her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law. M. TODD JACKSON is the Managing Attorney for Tennessee operations of Brock & Scott, PLLC. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1989. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Campbell University School of Law, Buies Creek, NC in 2001.

MATT CHENEY is the Managing Attorney for the TASC Division, which is headquartered in the Winston-Salem office. He was admitted to the North Carolina Bar in 1997 and practices real estate and corporate law. Matt received his undergraduate degree from Gustavus Adolphus College in 1994 and his Juris Doctor degree from Wake Forest University School of Law in 1997.

The firm’s Accounting & Personnel Department is operated from the Administration Office.
